MIGRAINES

Migraines are a type of headache, but they are distinct in terms of their intensity, duration, and associated symptoms. Unlike regular headaches, which typically cause mild to moderate pain, migraines are often severe, pulsating headaches that usually affect one side of the head. They can last from a few hours to several days and are often accompanied by additional symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, and sometimes visual disturbances called "aura." Migraines are typically triggered by factors like stress, certain foods, hormonal changes, or environmental stimuli, while regular headaches (like tension headaches) are more commonly caused by muscle strain, stress, or posture issues. Migraines are also considered a neurological condition, whereas most headaches are not. The severity and impact of migraines on daily activities set them apart from more common headaches.

Happy Family

“I'm grateful to receive treatment at Dr. Sooley's office when I need it most, and today was one of those days.”

Susan Crane

“Doctor Sooley and his staff are amazing. I have been seeing them 5 years now. I can't say enough about how much they have helped me. I was having a lot of different issues. After seeing 12 doctors with no results, my new health care provider, who found a problem with my neck sent me here. He said, and I quote "I want you to go see Dr Sooley. He has this little gun looking thing that has helped a lot of people". So I went, and here we are 5 years later and I'm much, much better because of it. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.”
